Hi.

Wondering if anyone else is having issues with maybe latest windows update? I am not very good when it comes to problems with PC, I built my own gaming PC and that is as far as I go.

In the last week or so my PC has been randomly restarting itself, mid game or just mid strolling through internet etc... It says in events something about ESENT 642 then Video.UI etc and other stuff.

I have ran 3DMark stress test and it failed!! I don't know why, I am unsure as to why it failed but I have never had it fail before.

Any help is appreciated.

The Esent errors appear to stop 10 days after you get 2004. This means they are tied to the windows.old folder.

it is a problem related to 2004 - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ost-2004/71de4a23-dced-4a8c-b1a5-dfc601bb47ed

one solution is wait 10 days... as the windows.old auto deletes on the 10th day
Or you can delete it now if you don't intend to roll back to 1909.

that won't have anything to do with pc restarting itself. So there is something else at play as well.
