I have 2 acer monitors, and I've had no problems with them for a long time, but out of the blue, I ran into an issue that when I wake my computer from sleep, my second display stays inactive. If I go to the device manager and disable/enable the graphics driver, it comes on like normal, this also happens if I sleep it and wake it back up again.

Ive looked around for a while now and I haven't run into another person with the exact same problem, most people are just asking about a display that wont turn on at all.

Anyone have any ideas?

OS: Windows 10 pro 64bit
Relevant hardware:
Main screen: Acer S230HL
Second screen: Acer G205HL
GPU: GTX 980 Ti, Driver: 361.43

I think there may be some issues with some monitors connected to a nvidia 900 series card.
I had a similar situation with a Yamakasi sparta301. On wake, I could power off/on the monitor and use the desktop resolution screen to detect the device.

Good to know that I'm not alone with this... But I'm hoping that someone might have found a solution of sorts.

I've set up a .bat file that quickly resets my video driver, but I have my gadgets on the upper screen, and every time this happens, their positions reset. As do all of my icons, but I have a program that saves the state of the desktop icons for a quick fix.
