Win 10 - sleep mode works only one time

Hi community, i have small issue with my Win10 and sleep mode. When my PC goes sleep and i click mouse - it wakes up. But after few mins (set in power management) - it doesnt sleep again. My PC goes sleep only once. It should every few mins - like it was always. Ofcourse i tried different times, i waited much longer.

I dont know what info could be helpful for u so i can write that
- i dont have and ever had problem with wake up
- hibernation is off powercfg.exe /hibernate off and i dont use mixed mode
- apps in background and tray are same as always
- nothing interrupting sleep mode like downloading, games, movies etc
- set same and different times for display and pc
- the only one app is in theory interrupting sleep mode while check by powercfg -requests, its windows media player but it is listed from beggining and in practice PC always went sleep with it.
- no viruses and malware
- tried sfc /scannow like is suggested with wakeup problems

I dont know why PC after i wake it up with mouse/keyboard, cant sleep again. I noticed issue yesterday and for sure it worked before Win10 Fall Update i did week before - but dont know if its related with this updt.

How it should work (works normal)
- set pc sleep 5 min, display 3 min (example times but always i uded same value for both times)
- after 3min idle display tunr off
- after 5min idle pc sleeps
- mouse move
- pc wake up
- after 3min idle display tunr off
- after 5min idle pc sleeps
- mouse move
- pc wake up and so one

From 1-2 weeks i have
- set pc sleep 5 min, display 3 min (example times)
- after 3min idle display tunr off
- after 5min idle pc sleeps
- mouse move
- pc wake up
- after 3min idle display turn off
- pc doesnt sleep even after hour f idling


I tried many things. reset power plan to default, set different times for display monitor and pc. Nothing helps so its not a fault of my power plan config - earlier everything worked like a charm when i had 10mins for pc and monitor sleep times, hdd sleep in 10 min of inactivity, high performance of network card

Apps wotking in background && tray (same as always): spyhunter, eset nod, logitech gaming software, msi afterburner, riva turner, assus allsuite, nvidia, bluetooth and teamviewer

i suggest that your ram isnt flushing after restore of first wake, making windows believe you have no space to 'sleep' a second time. possibly caused by windows 10 secret updates in background breaking a flush command or worse.

try re-enabling hibernate even if you dont use it, this lets windows know you are willing to allow it to push data to hdd.

try a system restore from prior to manifestation of issue. change your internet connection to 'metered' to help stop windows pushing broke updates to you.
