When moving Library Files and certain Users files to D:\ storage drive, Can Documents, Library, Pictures, and Video Folders be moved and combined to 1 main folder, with same location path? Or do they have to have different location paths and create 2 Documents folders under 1 main Document Library?

Solution
Some programs may use the Documents folder instead of Pictures folder. If this is the case you can see if the software allows you to select a location.
You can use the location tab under each user folders properties to move them to whatever location you want(even network locations work).

As for having them all in one folder, you can, sort of. I have all of the user folders in the Documents folder on d : without issues. To make things worse for me the entire drive d: is the documents folder(bad habit from the Windows 95 days).

You can layout files however you like. Also note that things like Appdata will by default remain on your c:
They can be moved, but it is a bit more involved and may have some side effects.

Thank You for your answers!! I only move the Library Folders (Docs,Pics,Videos,Music) and from the User Folders everything but left Searches and Roaming on C:\. The Windows Apps Folder (no location tab) is on D:\ somehow it moved itself there, but on Settings>System>Storage it is chosen to be on C:\.
The thing is on D:\ I have 2 sets of Documents,Pictures,Videos, Music folders 1 from D:\Users\JM and 1 from Library D:\JM. Couldn't they be combined into
1 folder for Docs, Pics,Videos,Music, with the same path? Change the path for both to D:\JM ? Or is that what Microsoft is talking about with updates and fixes would be corrupted by changing to 1 path? So User folders has to be separate from Library Folders in case of fixes or updates?
Thanks Again,
John

Thanks Nukemaster for reply,
Under Settings>System>Storage >Apps are saved to >This PC (C:) I don't know how it moved and has no location tab. Forums say they can be moved WindowsApps. Don't know will leave and see if a problem.
Thanks, John

Only your libraries(I tend to call them users folders, but libraries are more accurate for sure). have the location tab.

The normal way to move those would be on the control panel, but your is already set to c : . You are not out of room are you?

Moving things with Junctions or Symbolic Links can be done, but it is NOT RECOMMENDED. It can cause lots of unwanted problems(more so when moving parts of the OS).

Sorry Nukemaster multitasking installing stuff from OneDrive back into laptop, taking dog out, etc.
I am leaving the set up as is and see what happens. The only problem I faced was installing AOL, after I moved the folders to D:\. AOL created another User Picture file with > Pictures downloaded from AOL and Saved Pictures. I had to use Move to place files in User Picture folder in D:\.
I'm downloading now from OneDrive my software like Revo Installer, System Mechanic, Rogue Killer Pro etc. They are going into D:\ Downloads now trying to install.
