win 10 wdf bsod

I am trying to refresh my PC so i could give it to my cousin. I have a hold HP desktop and for some reason when i try to refresh the system it bsod with error WDF_violation.

So were you doing a full clear?

One way to avoid the error is just fresh install win 10 instead, as I assume you want to clear all the software off it you had? Will also give cousin a working pc

Use it to make a Win 10 Install USB or DVD
change boot roder so USB or DVD first, Hdd second

when you get to part asking for a key, just click "I don't have one" and it will auto activate on install. Might want to update drivers after install too.
