Question win 11 and thunderbird

I had updated to win 11 on my Dell laptop from Win 10. I had never tried to use thunderbird, the email client till recently. I tried to download it and what comes up, puzzled me...It said something like it is now known as Mozilla. In the past, I would copy the old profile and install it on the new pc and all worked well. Its been a long time since I have done this and some syntax escapes me, maybe someone can remind me, if they still work. I tried syncing and it failed, and then I tried export/inport and that failed. What is going on here???The more Microsoft updates systems, browsers and take complete over, the more i feel like a ignorant user.

Your best bet is to export your address book and if you want to save all of your existing email and make Mozilla Thunderbird install with everything like it was previously you can use a small free program called Hekasoft Backup & Restore v.92. Update your Thunderbird on your old machine and then restore it on the new machine. I just moved a couple of machine from W7 to W11 and used it, all settings intact. That program also works on Browsers and antivirus programs among other things.

Thank you...its now V.95.....I downloaded it but have not run it as yet ....got a warning that there was no manufacturer listed for it. I hesitated until I hear from you about that.
