I just got my Win 11 box up and running (thank you PersonWhoShallRemainAnonyous). Had to wait on a miniDP adapter.
Built the USB direct from the Win 11 MCT, installation was pretty much just like 10.

Just as with any Windows OS change, there are differences.
This change looks like much less than previous ones. Any rational person...a day to get used to it.

The visual differences going from10 to 11 are much less than the differences going from 7/8/8.1 to 10.

Taskbar in the middle?
In Taskbar settings, there is the option to move that to the left. A single click to change.

And in any case, I use applications, not the OS. 'Windows' stays in the background.

I see zero compelling need to change an existing Win 10 box to 11. And especially if major hoops need to be jumped through to make it happen.
My current Win 10 boxes shall remain Win 10 for the forseeable future.

Thankfully, I am not afflicted with GHIN Syndrome.

Parts:
Ryzen 5 5600X
Gigabyte 550M Aorus Pro
32GB RAM
1TB MX500
Radeon Pro WX 3200
Corsair RM850
Corsair H100iRGB AIO

I'm in the same boat. It works on my test laptop after a small bit of driver wonkiness but I haven't loaded a lot of applications or really tested it much.
I'm sure one of my clients will be emailing me within a week or two about the Windows 11 laptop they just bought. It's difficult to say no to C-level managers and they, unfortunately, are the ones most likely to just go out and buy a new laptop just, well...because they can. [sigh]

There are some compelling reasons to NOT upgrade or buy a Windows 11 system just yet, including the AMD performance bug and the Explorer memory leak/bug, but I'm sure those will be fixed in a week or three.

im not changing until 2025. i gain nothing except to upset the apple cart so to speak. not gonna do it... wouldn't be prudent... lol

my build vms are all server based os, never client. too much chaff with the os for that purpose

Right.
As with any OS new version, there are teething issues.

15% penalty on AMD system, 5% on Intel, blah blah.
This happens across all platforms, every time.

It will get worked out eventually.
But let other people be the guinea pigs.

As far as the 'licensing' on this system...weird.
This is a new to me box, SSD completely blank. Never turned before today. Previous owner had, I believe, a beta Win11 on it.

During the install, I put in my MS account as requested.
When it asked for a license key, I clicked "I don't have a license key", and proceeded.

Checking just now...
"Activation state - Active
Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account"

Checking my MS account, this new system is there.

Comparing Win versions to new car models...

Going from Win 7 to Win 10, the visual differences were on the order of - "They moved the cupholders! This SUX!"

Going from 10 to 11, it is "They changed the shape of the turn signal stalk!! However shall I adjust?"
