[SOLVED] Win 32 issues

Well still got some cobwebs in this computer thats only now been running 5 days after a 5 year sitting in the moving box. I tried to download steam from their site. It downloads fine, but when I try to run the download I get a this is not a valid win32 application. Tried to download Malware bytes program, same issue. Really could use some help on this. Hopefully something simple. Thanks.

Hmm, wouldn't trying to run steam on XP result in "this version of windows is not supported" ?
I guess if the only version steam is available in is 64bit then that would explain it.
Nope, just checked, steam is 32bit even on my system.

Also due to the steamdeck you can run steam on a linux distro, it's not the easiest thing to do but compared to nothing at all...

Well I haven't been on Steam playing since 2017. So that explains why I can't download steam.
But computer still won't download awareness. Is that also a issue due to its xp?

It was supposed to be Malwarebytes.

Just like with Steam, a current MalwareBytes won't install on XP.
