Win 7 re installation from win 10

Can use the recovery media dvd of win 7 to install it after upgrading to windows 10? And will I require a product key?
P.S. i asked about the product key since, though my laptop came with a digitally signed windows my brother again activated it with kms and now it says that the license will end soon!

If it's only been a month since your upgrade to 10, you can revert with built in wizards. After that window, you'll have to do a clean install of 7 with your serial. (Meaning that you'll have to back up everything important and wipe the drive.)
