I'm having some issue with the drivers to use my current laptop with win 7.

Basically a bunch of my hardware isn't recognized and I don't really know which drivers are missing.

For example I have a 1050 Ti GPU and the Nvidia driver client tells me that I need a driver from intel.

When I go to intel for win 7 drivers (which are hard enough to find) it says that they arent compatible with my hardware.

I also suspect that the PCI-E bus as a whole may not be recognized as those drives show error in device manager.

Any ideas how to approach this issue?

Yes, when you want to install nvidia drivers on a laptop, you'll always need to have installed before the Intel HD drivers. There's no way to get it working without it.

Is important to note that intel removed support for windows 7 for integrated video cards such as HD 630 or newer. But that's not exactly true. You have to edit a .ini file or something, and you can re-enable windows 7 compatibility, which intel removed without reason. Did you did that before trying to intall the driver?

Here's a guide on how to do that tweak:

Good luck.
