Haven't been able to install Sp1 on my ASUS k42f (x64) and it hasn't been a major problem until now. It's interfering with me using a program that utilizes silverlight 5 as a platform as silverlight 5 is only supported by win7 Sp1 and 1E 9 -- neither of which I can install.
I've been trying to do this install for about a year now (when I can find the time). I've run all the recommended scans, checks, etc -- tried to install with my AVG 2012 disabled -- tried to install from a disk from Microsoft ...... Please help! I feel like my head is going to explode!
