win 8.1 icons blank and folder properties wont open

Hi,i have installed Windows 8.1 today.but i have a problem

when i click any folder's properties it wont open.it opens but 5-10 mins after i clicked ''properties''.

i tried scannow,antivirus programs,advanced system care etc.none of them worked.

when i click an application's properties it opens normally.but when i click folder's properties it wont.

and some app's icons are blank.
what can i do?

Not sure about the Properties issue, but the blank app icons sounds like a corrupted icon cache. You can reset it with Shawn Brink's Icon Cache reset script here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/49819-icon-cache-rebuild.html
