Win 8.1 iso won't boot up(dvd or usb)

I have a win 8.1 iso which will only install from win 7 using The setup.exe. When I try using an usb stick or a burnt Dvd it gets right past The screen where I should b able to presa any key to boot up from either The dvd or The usb stick.

Why is this?

Yes i always set The bios to boot from either The usb stick or dvd.

I used iso magic/iso burner for The dvd and Rufus for The usb Stick. It's Always worked apart from this win 8.1 iso.

That should work.
Where did the ISO come from?

From a torrent site, but this is The first time an iso from there gives me this soft of problem.

If you were to obtain a valid OS install, your issues would go away.
