Win XP Home and Power Options

I have an interesting problem. I (as administrator) set the power options
to Scheme: Home/Office (it was Presentaion). Then I set the Turn Off
Monitor to Never (was After 20 mins). I Applyed the changes and all was
well.

I then logged off as admin and logged on as a Restricted User and the Power
Options reflect the old version (i.e. Presentation and After 20 mins
respectively. When I try to change this, I get Access Denied. I even
rebooted and retraced the above steps but I still can't change the
restricted users Power Options to match mine (the Admin).

What am I overlooking? I would have thought that by changing the options as
an admin that they would propagate to the other users.

Any help would be appreciated...

Power options are user level settings. In order to set the power option for
other users you need to log in as administrator, change the users account to
administrator, log in as the user, change power options, log user out,
change user back to non-administrator privileges.

If you want to set user accounts so that each user can change the power
options, without being an administrator, then you need to change a registry
key - google will show you the way!

I knew that I could become an admin and change it back etc but I thought
that there must be an easier or 'proper' way to do it.
