Question win xp pack3

i want to format the hd andi want to install widows xp pack3 and i can't boot by cdrom... how i install it now? help me

Where did you get this SP3?
Generally, that is just the update, to update an existing Win XP installation.

SP3 is just a windows update.you will need a windows XP install disk. depending on the version of it then it may already have SP3 on it. if not then windows update will download and install it

LOL, I was going to say MS stopping updating Windows 95 18 years ago. Assuming the OP wants to install Windows 95 XP from a cdrom, and does not have a Windows boot disc, he will have to make one, which is dependent on the Operating system of the working computer one has. If you have an earlier want a 3 1/2" Windows XP boot disk you can possibly use one of the programs you can download one from this website. https://www.allbootdisks.com/download/xphome.html The file you down load will create a bootable 3 1/2" floopy, assuming you have a 3 1/3" floppy drive.

BTW, there is no Windows 95 SP3, only a SP2.5

My bad. If you can't boot by CD ROM, I assume you can boot by 3 1/2" floppy. All you need is a 3 1/2" floppy drive, a diskette and to down load the Windows XP boot disk program from the link above (I edited the post for XP). These boot disks load the CD-ROM drivers so you can install from the CD-ROM.
