Win xp

On Win XP i changed the only user available account type from limited to administrator type. and after restart - nothing comes on the welcome screen of the Win xp. I cant see any login names to click.

Pls help ASAP.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

That's quite normal and how it should be. If there's only one account and it has administrative rights, the System Administrator account doesn't need to show in normal mode. If you ever really that account, you will find it still displays on the Welcome Screen when you tap Function 8 at start up and go into any of the Safe mode options.

If you hit ctrl-alt-del twice, it will bring you to the login window. There is a reg key that controls visibility too.
