win10 audio buzz then cuts off

ive been having a very recent issue where randomly my audio will buzz then cuts off. Usually happens ingame.it usually happens when it wants and hard to trigger.

the buzzing sound would usually kick in,freeze the game for a couple of seconds then audio cuts off and everything resumes back to normal but with no audio.so ill have to restart whatever game im playing to get the audio working.


strangley enough discord seems to increase the chances of the buzzing noise to trigger

I tried many things like rolling back to a older nvidia driver which didn't work.reinstalled some audio drivers(nahimic2+ Realtek)no prevail.

thermals are fine for the cpu as well as the gpu so the issue may not lie on either of those.

specs:
msi gtx 1070 gamming x

i5 6600k 4.4ghz

16gb 2133mhz ram

corsair 850w 80+gold psu

msi z270 gamming m7

assistance would be appreciated

btw I get a nvlddmkm has stopped working in the event viewer when that audio crash occurs.which is strange because even when I rolled back to an older driver the issue kept happening.
