Hello friends

I am facing a weird problem. I use my external USB 3.0 drive attached to the front panel USB 3.0 port. After the last update of Windows 10, I am seeing that every time I reboot or wake the PC up from hibernation, the external drive gets dismounted.
As the drive contains certain catalogue files which are used by my image editing program. So it has become a kind of irritation that every time I start working, I need to physically remove the drive and reattach it. I tried to change the power option, but that did not help.

Could any member here please give me a solution to this problem?

I tried to google a number of times, but could not find any solution.

Thank you all.

Maybe Microsoft have figured that is the way it should work. Or maybe it is a kind of unwanted behaviour of Windows.

There is probably not much do do about it, exept use the external hdd for backup only.
