Win10 doesnt detect second monitor, after months of it working perfectly.

For the last several months ive been running a two-display setup, with my main display running through HDMI(this one works still, no problem), and a second display running with a DVI connection(this is the one that wont display).

I do not believe that either the cords, nor the monitor itself is broken, since it actually does display on startup, all the way untill just before the login-screen.

Both monitors is plugged into my GPU, an amd RX 470.

Please help me, since ive already tried the thing i know to do, that is a full reinstall of the GPU-drivers.

......... something with the cord... how..

so ill explain, though ill say i do not really understand. Another post had a offhand comment saying "somehow it worked after changing the cable", and i did, and it worked...

The "OLD" cable literally worked 3hrs ago... idk. sry for posting just to find such a simple, although unlikely, solution.
