Win10: HDD appears in Disc Management, but not in File Manager

I am trying to use a Orinco 3559SUSJ3-5V USB3 drive cage containing five 3TB Seagate drive as storage for a media server. Only two of the five drives show up on File Manager, although all five show up in Disc Manager. I am using a Kangaroo computer to run the media server. This comes with Win10 Home.

When I connect the Orinco 3559SUSJ3-5V to one of the USB3 ports of my desk top, all drives appear in file manager.

Any ideas?

Have you partitioned and formatted all the the drives in disk management that are not showing in file manager?

Yes, and all are showing as healthy.

Remember: ALL five drives show correctly on my Win10 Pro main system....but only two on the Kangaroo

Well, I found it....be I do not understand it! I assigned drive letters in the kangaroo and now all five drives show up in File Explorer. Apparently it is necessary to assign drive letters in every computer a usb3 drive cage is plugged into????

Seems odd, but it fixed the problem!!
