Are you using some upgrade option or are you attempting a fresh install with a usb created by the Windows Media Creation Tool? If HP initially installed W 8.1 they may have placed some kind of restrictions or rescue files on the drive that prevent upgrading. You should probably consult HP about that. Or alternately you could just wipe the drive and fresh install W10 that way if you're OK with all your prior files being lost. Let us know if you need help with that.Its a statement and question. Thats makes sense, I've tried everything. Trying to install without keeping files this time. Have already tried resetting the PC and trying to install again.
