I am trying to install windows 10 on my old Samsung Q310 laptop, unfortunately the USB installer doesn't want to play ball. BIOS detects the stick and I am able to prioritize it, but when it posts, it just gets stuck on a black screen with a blinking cursor.

To make sure the machine is ok with booting to USB, I created an UBCD stick with rufus, and that seems to boot just fine.

Unfortunately booting from USB is my only option. Does anyone know how to get past this problem? Is there perhaps a way to boot with UBCD and then just copying files onto the C:\ drive for the initial install?
