Question Win10 WIFI Issue wont connect automatically

Hi,

Has anyone encountered an issue with Windows 10 where in the wifi wont connect automatically even if you have set it to connect automatiically?

Do you also have a LAN inserted into the PC. Or is it just WIFI?

Just wifi. And I also made sure that Power Management Setting is configured

Latest driver?
Any recent OS updates?

Drivers are up to date

Laptop of desktop? What are you trying to connect to? When I installed a wifi HP printer, the HP wizard installed it as a Network printer, and it was continually dropping off. Using the Windows 10 Control Panel (Devices and Printers), I deleted and reinstalled the printer; however the newly installed printer was no longer named a "Network" printer and it has worked flawlessly since then.

I ran into this on one of my daughters' laptops.

As I recall, I had to remove the network entirely and re-create the network connection--several blasted times. Somewhere in that process, I believe, but am not certain, that I removed the wireless drivers and re-installed them at least once.

To say that it was infuriating is an understatement. I was a hair's breadth away from wiping her drive and installing the current rev of Debian at that time.
