On the fourth attempt of installing, Windows finally started to install until:

The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing. Value 0 on the line in section [SourceDisksFiles] with key "SP1.cab."
setup cannot continue..

Any ideas?

Q. I created a slipstreamed CD-ROM. Why do I get an error message when I boot from the installation disks?

A. Windows 2000 introduces the idea of slipstreaming an installation, which lets you apply a service pack to an installation area. If you then copy the installation area to a CD-ROM and boot from the regular installation disks, you might receive the following error "The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing: Value '0' on the line in section [SourceDiskFiles] with key "SP1.CAB"." To resolve this, copy txtsetup.sif from the I386 folder on the CD-ROM to the first of the four installation disks. Doing so should let you proceed with the installation.
