Win2K passwords

We set up a trial network at work to try Win2K server and see how it worked, after we loaded Win2k server it asked us for the password, we had not set a password, but could not escape past this, or even get a set password window, as it was one of the other techs that loaded it I dont know if there was a step he missed, The systems got sold and we never were able to spend any more time on it, anybody have any ideas?

when installing win2K you must put in a password at one point durring the installition or it will not contine to install.

possibly just hit <enter> when it asked for the PW and now passwork is blank

dan is right. You can't install win2k server without entering a password for the Administrator account

You have to set a password for server. For pro you can set it to log automatically without the ctrl+alt+delete NT type log-on.
