Win2K Registered Name

On a new install of Win2K we made a typo on the name of the owner. How can we edit that name?

probably this one:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\RegisteredOwner

Opened Regedit and drilled down to CurrentVersion\
There isn't any reference to corrent owner. Any other ideas?

Not sure why you're not finding it. It's a string value inside CurrentVersion, not a subkey of CurrentVersion (i.e. click once on CurrentVersion, then look on the right pane)

Because I'm a dummy and had never been there!!!

....or you could have searched the registry for the name you did type and then modified it. ive done that before.
