Win2k & voodoo5

Hey, I have a queston, does anyone know if win2k has any trouble with the voodoo5 card? I have a friend who is looking to put 2k on his computer, and has a voodoo5 and wants to know if all hell is about to fall on his head.

none that i know of, and there are quite a few 3rd party win2k drivers for the voodoo 5. but I don't personally have one.

THe reason i say you shouldnt have too much trouble is cuz i got my voodoo banshee working in 2k. Now that is a NIGHTMARE. because the voodoo banshee doesnt have ANY drivers for w2k. i am using a voodoo 3 driver morph. hehe.

My server have an Diamond Monster Fusion which uses an Voodoo Banshee. I just use the driver come with win2k have no problem with it.

Me and my friend both have w2k (1 server, 1 pro), and none of us have had a single problem with voodoo5 with it... I say go for it!

I am running a V5 5500 on win2k without a problem too. I recommend getting the wickedGL drivers for it though, way better than 3dfx drivers. www.wicked3d.com
