I am trying to install win2k on my comp but it gives me blue screen each time I try. I believe the problem lies within the video card and my question is, are there any ways to install win2k without purchasing a new video card?
If there are anyone out there who has ATI Rage Fury Pro Video card and have successfully installed win2k please explain what steps were necessary.
Thanks..

Every blue screen mean something. Please read carefully, because it can mean that you have bad memory (page fault in non paged area) or you need a third party driver for your mobo (inaccesibile boot device) not necessarily your video card is the problem...

Try removing all other hardware except the Rage Fury Card, also disconnect any other peripherals, i.e., printers, scanners, vid cameras...etc. If it still gives you the blue screen, read the error "Stop Code" and see what it means in your "Getting Started" booklet. This is simply a suggestion, but check the W2k hardware compatibility list on microsoft's W2k web site. Also, ATI's FAQ may give you some insight or a work around.

Good Luck!
