Win7 64-bit odd stuff.

I installed a win_7 on a new ssd; unused, and it is the 64 bit version. Oddly it installed the 64-bit program files and the 32-bit program files. this takes up about 20gb more than(i am running only a 64gb ssd with only 10 gb availible. If i try to delete the 32-bit one it requires administarter permition even though i am the adminitrator and do not have a password. It has no option to do anything and exits. Anybody know how to fix this? thanks

What you have is normal. There is nothing to 'fix'.

Then why is it in my previous computer(64-bit aswell) it only had 64-bit program files.

Then why is it in my previous computer(64-bit aswell) it only had 64-bit program files.

What was the previous OS? My Win7 64bit on a different PC also has "Program Files and Program Files (x86)" folders.
Those are just folders. They have no special 32bit or 64bit significance. Why two? Because some older programs are going to look for that "Program Files (x86)" for the default install location.

I'm not sure what your issue is, apart from installing too much stuff on a too small drive.

Just my drivers, and nothing else, takes up about 2-3 gb in all

Just Windows and drivers, and its taking up ~50GB? No....you have something else going on.
I have a Win7 install, and a crapload of applications, and it doesn't take up that much.

Try WinDirStat. It may help visualize where that space is.

Some things to look for:
hiberfil (equals the amount of RAM you have)
pagefile
