Win7 cd/dvd problem

WIn7 keeps asking me to insert a disc in drive E: I have inserted a new DVD movie, cd and even win 7 disc and keeps asking to insert it.

The drive was working OK a few days ago. The only thing that i did different was try to use an apple usb pro-mouse and downloaded drivers for it.

any ideas on how to fix this?

First, try removing the driver software for the Apple mouse and then see if the DVD drive works as it should. If it does, it sounds like there is some sort of driver conflict occuring.
