Searching Intel's website and asking their online form to give me drivers for the X58 chipset it refused to do so. Even more the drivers provided by the motherboard do not install the chipset drivers at all and Windows 7 only uses the Microsoft drivers.
So, my question is: Are chipset drivers for chipsets becoming a thing in the past?
(I have tried updating them manually, but I see no benefit after rebooting)
