Win7. Keyboard perfect, works in other pc's. I cannot log in because the keyboard cannot write the password. In safe mode the same problem. I kave read that pressing several times the ALT key the password can be written, but I have not tried it yet. The pc is coming back from a recovery of disk and partition through an image.

Is this an USB keyboard? Is it wireless?

Make sure the keyboard is connected to the PC before you turn it on. If it is wireless, make sure it is turned on. If it is a wired keyboard, please confirm if the LEDs are lighting up (usually has at least one for caps lock).

What Samat suggested was the "on-screen keyboard", which is a windows feature that simulates a keyboard on the screen so you can click the keys with the mouse (or touchpad). It has nothing to do with touchscreen, don't worry about that. Below is the link for a guide on how to do that:

Murissokah: Thanks, I will try the screenboard. I have learnt something, I thought mistakenly that I needed a touch screen.
Although my keyboard is in perfekt condition, connected before starting the pc, all the backlights are on and working. The only thing is that I cannot enter the password after running the recovering image. With other images everything is normal, perhaps it is a problem of the image I have run which does not load the corresponding drivers.
