Nope. I think you mean a USB adapter for net connectivity.
When in sleep mode the rig is going to power itself down.
AMD uses an away mode state to conserve power but that's it. You need to configure stuff to get something like that functional and see to it that it stays on but uses minimum power.
There are other external HDD's or enclosure that allow such things to continue working even when the main rig is asleep, you could read a little more about them online.
