win7 not booting from ssd

I installed new ssd and put win7 on it with win7 still on hdd. Made changes to bios settings for boot order and changed ssd to ahci 1-4 ide 5-6 with existing hdd in ide mode with win7 still installed on hdd! Now when i boot up the comp boots up from the hdd and not the ssd. How do i fix this issue? Thanks in advance!
