I have a folder on my desktop that contains a number of .ico files - which I intended to use to customize my folder icons in my media folder. For some reason, Win7 doesn't recognize the *.ico files. The images were all originally .png files, and I used an online converter ([ext link removed] ) to change them all over to .ico files. When I tried to change the icon, I right-clicked > Properties > Customize > Change Icon. Then I browsed over to my desktop, where my .ico files are located. When I selected the proper file and hit Enter/OK/etc it tells me the following.
"<filename.ico> does not contain any icons"
The .ico files are all 128x128 pixels, which SHOULD be an appropriate size, but Win7 acts like it's never heard of an .ico file. Any help out there??
