Win7's system image is adding additional storage HDD

Win7: trying to create a system image, but windows 7 is adding storage HDD, how do I remove it to have only my OS HDD.
Every time I go to create a system image it keeps on adding another HDD that I don't need an image part of. How do I remove my secondary HDD to only have the primary HDD.

Can you make that a bit clearer, please?

What tool are you using to make a system image?
What disk / partition are you trying to make the image on?
When you says "Adding additional storage HDD", do you mean it creates one somewhere to put the image on or that it adds some arbitrary storage HDD to the image? How can you tell, if the latter? What drive is it? Windows 7 actually uses two system partitions; it could be that easy.
