Win7's Windows Explorer has a full-width pane just above the Status Bar that shows some of the details regarding the item that is highlighted in either the Navigation or File Pane. How do I permanently get rid of this pane. I find that it is redundant and occupies precious screen real estate.

I've tried the Classic Shell, Folder Options and the Organize->Layout possibilities.
