i have acer travelmate 8473TG..( nvidia optimus 540m)
i have noticed performance drop by using VGA vs HDMI for my second monitor.. with VGA ( intel 3000 ) hooked up, the display in my 2nd monitor is smooth ( windows animation, chrome etc ) but when i plugged the monitor with HDMI ( nvidia 540m ), the display in my 2nd monitor ( same monitor with multi input ) suddenly has worse performance ( lagging windows animation etc).. at it seems that in my main display ( laptop's ) also has that problem.. i want to use the HDMI for better sharpness for my work..
note that i extended my desktops, note clone it, for multi-monitor setup.
i am currently using 2 monitors ( laptops and LCD panel ) and planning to buy a cheap LCD to hooked up at the VGA port...
this is not for gaming.. straightly for my work only...
