loaded the drivers as per konica manual
plug in the camera and windows 98 bluescreens
the only way back is to unplug the cmaera and reset the machine
my retailer says this is a common problem and the best way to fix it
is to format the hard drive which will cost me as much as the camera
thanks in advance for any tips

What about using a media card reader? One I would suggest is the Lexar Media
JDT-231 Jumpdrive Trio Portable USB Drive- it accepts SD, MMC, and
MemoryStick media and also serves as a somewhat large "thumb drive". You
have to download driver from Lexar to use with Win 98. It comes with a USB
extention cable that is nice if you don't have USB hub or front mounted USB
jack. It costs @$15-20.
