Win98 pc -> win2k internet lag?

ok i have a P2 450 thats hooked up to my dsl router... i also have my T-Bird 1.1 gh thats hooked up.... on all websites and ultima Online my 450 seems to be surfing faster.... does this have to do with sme network setting i didnt do/change?

Do you mean that the Win2K is surfing faster then the Win98 ?

well, the 450 was going faster then my new one. some how my homemade network line got retarded when i snaked it thru my attic. i used a new one and its fine. But UO is still weird, but im handling that on a UO board.
