I have an asus A7N8X deluexe .
The on board sound has been great but now after re-installation due to raid0 raptor hdd upgrade I am getting a windy sound with bumps or pops???
I have all normal audio, just with windy effect!!!
I seem to hear the voltages in the mother board??
Is this a driver issue???
Thanks

I was hoping for some insight here.
Nvidia has a new chipset driver, but I had some problems with thier new sw IDE driver.
However this was on a cheaper mother board I was building for a friend.
Maybe I will install invidia's new chipset drivers..
The "wind" has become more subtle but is still annoying at times???
btw A7n8x rev=1.04
And yes I am sure it is not a connection or a short in the speakers.
Please help........... :(

Try moving the leads around from where they are currently located or seat the card in another slot.
I dont know if it will work, but its worth ago. Is very similar to when the shielding in car audio is not up to scratch.

hehe, oh yeah.

Guess i should read sh!t better, and i would if the boss wouldnt kick my arse for not working :)p

Sorry dude, did u try taking the raid out and seeing if it is the raid causing the problem, or if it is something that has occured from installing the raid?

If none of this provides any help, at least it bumps ya post til someone who actually knows wtf they are talking bout can help ya, lol

(Edited to avoid further stupidity, time will tell if sucessful)
