[SOLVED] windforce gtx 970 fan doing weird things

So i have a windforce gtx 970 in my pc, it has worked flawlessly and still is performance wise, but lately one fan out of the 3 has started making weird noises. When i opened up the pc while it is running to see why, i appears it is just randomly changing its speed at a frequent rate. It just goes full speed then in a second goes to very slow, making a noise like something is stuck there that makes it do that, when i looked at it, i saw nothing that is in the fan's way of spinning. Is this a known issue or something i can fix on my own?

It's possible that the fan's inner working might be clogged with dust, debris or even follicles of hair. I've seen GPU's with clogged fans that made the fans run at random or high speeds. You might want to also see if the GPU can do with a reapplication of thermal paste(not pads).

When disassembled, you can can shoot us some pics to see.

It sounds like a bad bearing.
I would replace it.

Is replacing them myself ok? I don't have much experience with that, so i am afraid i could break something unintentionally
