Change it to the bootdisk in the bios. If a hard drive is in it

Hi there Darlene76,

It is possible that your HDD has failed. You can go to BIOS and see whether it is recognized over there. In case it is not, the the drive has most probably failed. In case it is under warranty, you can contact the manufacturer.

If the drive is recognized by BIOS, you can test it with some HDD testing tool for DOS. The results should show whether there is something wrong with it.
