Window default color - RegEdit?

I think I need some regedit for this, but what location?
I tried to install a theme and ofc it didn't work but it's okay if I can remove this black backround in some software (Cheat engine in pic)
Also all text fields are dark gray backround and white text, but it's not as annoying (run window in pic)

Note: I don't want to apply high contrast settings, they don't fix this either.

did you try running system restore and see if there is a date just before you installed the theme? I would roll back if there is, should fix this. easier than using regedit (and safer)
