Windows Photo Viewer can't open this picture because you don't have the correct permissions to access the file location - I am pulling out my hair trying to see my photo's on a broken old laptop Hard drive. I have tried to take over as Admin but nothing happens when I try open the picture. PLEASE CAN SOME HELP!!

Hey, I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem. I tried taking ownership of the folder, but then when I tried changing the permissions it wouldn't let me, saying that access was denied. I can change the individual permissions for each photo but I have thousands that I need changed.
