Windows 10 (1803) optimise/defrag missing drives

I have the same problem as these guys.

Tho my 500GB mechanical HDD i can still defrag it.
It's just my 2TB HDD that it disapeared.
Did microsoft concluded that it's counterproductive to defrag large HDDs and decided to put them out of the way?
You got any info on the matter?

yeah it is dynamic....
so is it a new windows bug or what?

Yes, it appears to be a new windows bug since it only started happening since 1803 was released. I am not aware of any details of when/if this will be fixed.

Why are the partitions in dynamic? Are you using raid?
