Windows 10 (64 Bit) Only Reads Half of RAM

I just upgraded from Windows 7 Home Professional 32 Bit to WIndows 10 Pro 64 bit, but the PC still only reads 4gbs of RAM, even though I should be having 8gb. I have 2x4gb ram sticks and my PC is custom built. I checked my RAM sticks and they're in fine condition and properly inserted. I also made sure all my drivers were updated to the latest version, and my power supply supports all my parts. My processor supports 64 bit, and my PC says it is using 64 bit, so why hasn't my RAM gone from 4gb to 8gb?

Edit: I made sure to use the MSCONFIGURE Boot settings to not limit my RAM.

Did you do a clean install? You cant upgrade from 32 to 64 bit

It's probably reading 1/2 because you had 32 bit before

Yes. I made sure I did a clean install before I inserted the OS installation disc.

Did you delete the partitions before you installed 64 bit?
