Windows 10 activation

so i wanted to activate windows 10 with my digital license, but my new pc wasnt there to be selected in troubleshoot even though i was signed in with microsoft account so i did somthing stupid and went online looking for "free" product keys of which obviously didnt work, now i dont even have the option to troubleshoot and select new device all i see is that trouble shoot is completed and we cat activate cos im not connected to the internet when i am and that im not connected to my organizers activation server because i used bad product keys online that didnt work
, so is there away to reset this because i need to use my digital licence

Go to the search menu and search "Activation". That should allow you to enter your legit key. The key will be verified with microsoft when the computer first goes online, I believe.

if you do not have the option to troubleshoot then it sounds like you are on an older build of windows 10. make sure your new install is fully updated first

In your MS account, was the original system listed?
Where did the original license come from?

(there are no "free product keys")

Where did the original license come from?

i got the original from my pre built pc of ebay it was windows 7 then i did free windows 10 upgrade and linked my microsoft account to it so i got the digital license

OK then.
If it was linked to your MS account, then the Activation Troubleshooter thing should have worked.

Going online with the new PC, signed in with your MS account....the new PC never appears?

I'd suggest doing a full wipe and reinstall of the OS. Your exploits with the "free license" may still exist in the registry somewhere.
Full wipe, deleting ALL existing partitions when you install.

More annoying is having to look at that Windows watermark at the bottom right of the screen.
As said...this is apparently a fresh install, as of 2 days ago?

I'd bite the bullet and start fresh.

What do you mean..."nothing" ?
You spoke to someone? What did they actually say?

Kinguin is a non-starter. No better than whatever "free" thing you found before.
