Before we go any further I just want you guys to know that I've looked all over for a fix and nothing seems to permanently fix the problem. Here are the problems that I'm having:
Start Menu and Cortana are completely unresponsive.
Aside from NVIDIA GeForce Experience none of my startup items load on startup.
The taskbar doesn't display any icons besides the start button, Cortana search box, "Task View" icon, the arrow for the startup items and the notification icon, the clock is not displaying (I'll provide a screenshot to show you what I mean).
I've tried using powershell with this command and rebooting my computer:
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
I've tried doing a clean install of Windows 10
I've done a full system scan with Avast! and Malware Bytes.
The only things that work are the powershell code and doing a reinstall of windows but those only seem to work temporarily.
