Windows 10 AMD motherboards?

According to an article on Tom's, new desktop Windows 10 will require use of a UEFI v2.3.1 motherboard. I cannot find specs anywhere (sales sites, mb manufacturer sight, etc.) that list which UEFI version is being used. My current mb is not UEFI of any sort, so I need to replace it. But if I can't tell which version is on a board, how can I choose a replacement?

That requirement is strictly for secure boot. It does not mean that win 10 will not run on other boards, only that the higher level of security to log on will require it. That is already standard for win 8.1 so you don;t need to worry unless you are buying PC's for a business where you don't want unauthorized users being able to log on to your system.

According to the article, Secure Boot is mandatory. "The only change between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 for system requirements on the desktop is the mandate of UEFI v2.3.1. Windows 8.1 was required to have UEFI v2.3.1 for Secure Boot, but this was an optional feature. In Windows 10 this is no longer optional."
